That was the very interventionist hand of FDR's New Deal socialism which created firewalls of regulation in preventing banks from gambling, and in stopping utility companies from becoming a series of over-extended shell companies resembling Russian dolls on paper. The NeoLiberal self-equilibrating market model contrived as a solution to a false set of problems is at the root cause of globalizing poverty, racism, chronic hunger, and war. It never worked even under ideal conditions. Farrel must be one of those little red schoolhouse conservatives at odds with neocon ideology, or perhaps a Liberal Democrat who's forgotten the American experiment with socialism from 1933 to late '60's. Aww, man! That thread had lol potential. Oh, well, there will be more. This fellow, PAUL B. FARREL, who wrote the article seems like someone who isn't worried about paying his rent, or paying a doctor bill. I always learn a from smug libertarianesque noise boxes like him. No, really, because over time I tend to forget the standard lies they tell. These articles are a brush up, plus new twists are often revealed.
