In the last quarter some of these companies were really struggling I guess. Oops, no that was not the case. Some of these companies are experiencing record profits. No room for free enterprise? Corperate welfare is lucrative. I have nothing against companies making profits but when tax payer money is used to faciliatate greater potential for profits and to boost deficits and debts I am appallled everytime any government does this.
The House Energy Bill does not appear to have any investments in education and research/technology development. Very short sighted. But it does line the pockets of the influential.

In most industries, when the price of their raw materials rises dramatically, their profits go down.
The oil industry is the opposite - it seems their biggest profits occur in times of rising crude oil prices.
Now on top of that, they're going to be corporate welfare bums?
