You're not mistaken. This Goon is not only well-named, but the Pork from that farm is really putting out a lot of deadly ecoli waste.

Well, our liberals don't seem to object to trade with S. Korea either, and there were 2000 students massacred at Kwangju in 1980 - one of the country's worst cold war embarrassments.

If you actually wanted to start topical threads, Goon, you should've approached this board differently from the beginning. You only get one chance to make a first impression.

BTW, Jan Wong has a pretty good descriptive recount of the build-up and massacre at Tianamen in her book, Red China Blues, which I highly recommend.

You know, I'd like to know if there's a real effort being made to produce a film based on this (rather than someone looking for donations). I'm sure there's a major company with a script or concept floating around. Then again, without the ability to film on location, it'll be hard to make.
