Great idea, Doug. (Note, though, that all those exchanges occurred at Westminster, in the British H of C, not in the Scottish Parliament, even though it's the Scotsman that's reporting. Michael Howard is the leader of the British Tory party, and both Folkestone and Cleethorpes are in England. I don't know who Mr Hain is, but see below.) I loved this punchline: quote: During exchanges on future Commons business, Ms McIssac added: “Whether that comment was made deliberately or inadvertently, wouldn’t such a slot be an appropriate place for him to come and apologise to this House?”Mr Hain said he doubted this would be long enough for all the apologies Mr Howard needed to make.

quote: We should keep pushing to have both Louis Riel and Gabriel Dumont honoured as fathers of Confederation.
GD right there SK. edited to add: The original reformers. I love these guys. Dumont, as the man behind the throne, inspires me a little more than Riel. [ 27 June 2004: Message edited by: HeywoodFloyd ]
