This interview - gripping, vibrant with his despair at seeing the Western governments' assault on all our values continue unabated - was posted five months ago and, as a commenter writes, "he has not retired from writing or speaking - just the 'at the scene' live reporting bit."
I like what he says abour our "...offering them Democracy, but they want Justice. We are not giving them that."

Robert Fisk may be stepping out of the fire line but he is still writing. I can't blame his for being disillusioned but he really did help embolden the anti-war movement.
