Hi everyone,I wasn't sure where to put this question, but I figured that most feminists are also not homophobic so here we go. I just got a call from the Canadian Family Action Coalition asking me about same sex marriage. As soon as he said he was calling about that, I interjected, angrily said I support it, don't support his group, and to never call me again. I'm just wondering if anyone else has gotten these calls and what exactly they are asking...if anyone , of course, could resist the urge to hang up immediately.

I would guess... The script being used here is quite simple."Are you in favor of SSM" -If Yes, hang up -If No, provide contact information for that persons MLA along with instructions to go voice their opinion.

Sigh... Ok, I am not a right wing so-con. There are a few of us in Alberta you know. I just didn't see anything particularly unusual in the question. Strangely enought, I have never received a call from anyone doing any kind of political survey, I did do one recently on mental health though. I get tired of unsolicited calls, time to get an unlisted number
