That is alot for $50. I would recommend it to my friends and family so they would stop calling me to fix their computers.

Yeah, I know about that. These days, I tell them that I only touch Linux machines; Windows is their problem.
So, one gets to pay $50usd so that a multinational can prowl around inside one's computer every night? Does one have to disable one's firewall for this service?

Typical Micro$oft. Sell you crap software and then make you pay them to snoop on you and fix the crap they've sold you.
I suspect that when Windows Vista comes out later this year and folks find they've got to buy a brand new PC to run it they'll start gradually shifting away from the evil empire.
