Give it a rest.

Olivia Chow is not the only person, issue or thing that's NDP. (Even if she is in bed with leader Layton) This is old news.

So is racist or stupid liberal party hacks.

Where are the threads from outside of Toronto about the NDP..... ?

Please ?

You're as free to use this button as anyone. Instead of starting a thread to whine about how much you're tired of reading another thread, why not pick an issue and start a thread on that?

Well, um, there IS a precedent for threads that are NOT supposed to be about a specific topic....

Yeah but there are what two threads about it? In a world with an election going on, that's the type of thread proliferation that's going to bring this board to its knees.

Vansterdam Kid is correct. Enough already! The guy's resigned and the incident has been milked to the full. Are we so bereft of original thought that we cannot get on to other issues?

If the people in the thread get tired of the thread, the thread will die off. If you don't enjoy the discussion, or do not wish to particpate, it's a simple matter to just ignore it.

And so what if she's married to Jack Layton? Olivia was active in the community long before she met Jack. Olivia is not just the wife of Jack Layton. She's also a community activist and dedicated public servant. I hate how this dicussion started off with such a mysogynistic tone.

So, perhaps this could be a thread about the threads about a Liberal posting a racist slur on Chow. Or maybe it could be a thread that's specifically NOT about those threads or anything related to them, or a thread about another particular topic, or a thread about nothing. It's all good!

Uh, I was being sarcastic.

[edited to remove un-necessary bitchiness]

In any case, if you don't like it don't read the threads...I found the endless Desjarlais threads annoying, so I stopped reading them. The moderaters have kept the forum clean by deleting the duplicates, so what's to complain about? People can talk about whatever they wish, so long as it doesn't contravine the policy statement.

I agree... do you think Sheila Martin knew that Mike Klander was going to call Jack an "asshole"? Or do you have a sneaking suspicion that Laureen Harper was devastated when Klander mocked her husband for looking "gay" in his Calgary Stampede drag?

There's so much *more* to discuss!

Yes it is interesting that this thread which is about another thread with mysogyny in it started off with it's own brand of mysogny.

Want to discuss other issues? Fine, start a thread about another issue, not one that further insults Ms. Chow.
