I can tell you this much. If Microsoft persists in using this old code as the free e-mail program in Longhorn, I'm switching to Linux. It would indicate that the company really does not care squat about its customers. So I sat down and started to look at the problems, and I'm sure other annoyed users will be glad to add their complaints to this chorus:

Mozilla's free and open source mail client Thunderbird is an available alternative to Outlook.
