Moving on, here's one site that tries to keep a running tally, using lowest credible estimates, of casualties in Afghanistan and Iraq. The numbers include Afghani casualties which is in marked contrast to the approach of the USA in Iraq, for example, where one of the first targets of the bombardment of Fallujah was the hospital; by bombing the hospital the USA was able to reduce the ability of local authorities to track the number of civilian casualties. And that's a very useful thing if you're doing a lot of killing.
