There have been some interesting posts here on co-housing , co-operatives, such as the Older Women's Network co-op in Toronto. What housing schemes have succeeded, are on the drawing boards or planning stage, or are being called for in your community? How can housing respond to the changing needs of the population - ageing population, different family structures, large and small - while fighting sprawl and ensuring a pleasant, safe and lively environment, whether in a major city, a town, or a village ...
