So...has anyone ever sent or received a singing telegram? Apparently, there is a Canadian company that does them:

Western Onion

By the name it sounds like a joke, but they have Canada-wide reach.

Terrific group, by the look of it. Sending cookies or balloons -- nice idea. Those would cheer me up.

Ooh, I would love a Lobster-Gram.

I don't see Gorilla-Grams there, though. I might enjoy a Gorilla-Gram as well.

What I'm looking for is a singing process server.

"Sorry to be rude,
But you are being sued...
Fa la la la la"

I actually DID a couple of singing telegrams when I was a teenager. There was a place in town that did them, and I worked there extremely briefly and did a couple of them. Full clown make-up. It was fun. I'd forgotten about it until now!

The only appropriate response to a singing telegram is the one in the Clue movie.

We have one of those balloon places that also does singing greetings and gorilla-grams. They're often at our local hospital and will do wedding showers and things too.

A gorilla was hired for my cousin's wedding shower. He came in and did the cutes strip tease.
