There's some sort of weird intergalactic thread over here and it's annoying me. Is that you, radiorahim? I've tried to suggest [twice] that you add a title to your thread [without success].

Is this the long-awaited working-class barcar thread? On a Saturday Night no less?

Everybody loves a Saturday Night ...

If you mean the thread with no title "By 1" that's a burp by the software. It happens every once in a while.

Thanks pogge. Time to pick up a six pack.

Sorry lagatta. Those virtual drinks are like super-martinis and too dry for me.

But it is an excuse to party!

Non-drinkers can indulge in fresh-squeezed juices or cool mineral water. It doesn't matter.

What matters is solidarity (and fun). Here is a classic reggae working-class anthem:

Black Uhuru's "Everybody Wants The Same Thing" :

What's the matter, people?
Solidarity

Everybody wants the same thing, don't they?
Everybody wants a happy end
They want to see the game on Saturday
They want to be somebody's friend

Everybody wants to work for a living
Everybody wants their children warm
Everybody wants to be forgiven
They want a shelter from the storm

Look at me, I ain't your enemy
We walk on common ground
We don't need to fight each other
What we need, what we need

Solidarity
Solidarity
Solidarity
Solidarity

Nobody likes to ask for money
Nobody likes to play the clown
Nobody likes to wait in a long line
Nobody likes to be pushed around
Everybody wants their family protected
They want to express themselves
Everybody wants to live forever

Look at me I ain't your enemy
Don't believe everything you hear
This is no time to fight each other
What we need, what we need

Solidarity
Solidarity
Solidarity
Solidarity
Solidarity
Solidarity

Those are the coolest lyrics I've heard in a long time. I'll have to look up that song
