This is from January 2004 and I apologize if someone linked to it back then. I just read it in a book I'm proofreading and cried.
The speech was given at the Internatonal Women's Health Coalition Gala.
"As I said at the outset, I am not at all suprised that leaderhsip like that is most often to be found among women. And -- as some of you may have heard me say before -- when it comes to solving many of the problems of this world, I believe in girl power."
