Kofi Annan's term expires at the end of this year and although an Asian or a Women is widely expected to succeed him I think Canada should consider nominating Romeo Dallaire for Secretary-General. He is a world hero in my opinion and would be an excellent voice for increased Peacebuilding and advocating R2P. He would be a great candidate because he is the anti-diplomat what does everyone else think?

This discussion could probably be continued in the thread you started in the politics section.
