So far on this board and in just the past 24 hours Obama has been called a 'character', a 'butcher', and 'murderer', and now a 'racist'.

Threads here.

Michelle - So hopefully this explanation clears up for you why some babblers feel that Obama's reaction to this is not only inadequate, but even racist

Rabble-ObamaButcher.etc

And he's not even President yet.

I think he's getting so much...is hate too strong a word?...because people expected Clinton to get the nomination, and so they invested so much hope and energy into what they thought she represented. Things like advancing feminism, breaking the glass ceiling, things like that. Then along comes this smooth talkin' dude and he wins the nomination by doing something so nefarious. He gets more votes...

Clinton was a paid-in-full member of the established power elite, she just didn't have a member, if you will. Obama is the real deal.

And frankly calling an African American a racist is pretty low.

No, that's not it. There are few Clintonites here.

Actually, the Obama-haters are far-left purists who need to hide their actual political allegiances.

They need to hide them because otherwise, people might say: "That was tried and failed disastrously!"

So, you won't find those people telling you who DOES represent positive political choice in the United States. Instead, they'll be all over Obama, but not McCain, because he doesn't stand for the destruction of the United States. Like they do.

Is there any reason why this could not have been posted in the thread already open about Obama? Basically you're just continuing the discussion from there here.

People are allowed to post their political opinions here, even if you don't agree with them.

And Jeff, your opening post is yet another attack on people who post here. If you aren't going to contribute respectfully to this forum, I will lock your account again.

Whoops, sorry, didn't notice that there wasn't an active thread on the first page of this forum on Obama. I'm pretty sure there is one, though! I'll look for it and post the link.

Okay, here we go.
