I've got a week off next month, so I decided I'd treat myself to a trip to New York. I'm sure many of you have been there for a variety of reasons, so I was just wondering if you could recommend certain activities i.e. sights, galleries, bars, restaurants, etc. My agenda for the trip is pretty open at this point - I've only got a trip to the Guggenheim and CBGB's planned. I'd also like to see a taping of Letterman or Conan, but chances are pretty slim for that. Any recommendations for fun or educational experiences in NYC would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
