DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ANY OF THESE WOMEN REPORTED MURDERED IN CANADA? IF SO PLEASE CONTACT ME at [email protected] .


From Edmonton Journal,
"Indian woman the most vulnerable"
- Constance Deiter-Buffalo, March 10, 1995.

..It lists 88 First Nations women who had been murdered in Canda to that point and notes that 117 names have not been released by the RCMP and others.
As information is gathered, we will add details to this site.

Hi, waabs, and welcome to babble.

I hope that all babblers will read that link. I've seen it before, and it is heartbreaking. Whether people can provide more information or not about what has happened to these women, it will change the thinking of everyone who reads it.

Yes, thanks for the info. But it didn't need to be posted in so many different forums. It's best, if you have something you want people to see, to post it once, in the most appropriate forum.

Maybe so, but I saw the "closed" topic in Politics, and thought it odd that it was closed without comment, and without a link to the one thread that will continue. It seemed like an arbitrary closure of a valid thread, until I saw this one and realized what had happened.

I'm actually going to close this one, and leave the one open in "babblers helping babblers". Just because I don't want to paint a picture that missing women is a "women's issue", you know?
