Not surprised that this initiative a) started in the US and b) is sponsored by the "National Association of Professional Organizers" (NAPO) - no, they don't mean union organizers - and big hardware and office supply retailers. But it does evoke the never-ending struggle to organize one's work and living space... http://www.napo.net/goweek/gwk.html

ooooh. I don't know what it is about stationary stores, but when I go into them I feel that I NEED everything. That doesn't happen often.

I'm very, very organized, but I'm not particulary neat.

Yeah, Trinitty, me too. I have to stay away from those stores. Every time I go there for some little thing for a couple of bucks, I walk out with $20 of stuff.

I haven't got the choice - have to buy computer paper, ink etc. There's a small one not to far from me that hasn't got too much stuff. I usually make sure I'm just taking the money for my anticipated purchase. I love pens.
I also have to keep my spending under control at church bazaars - neat cheap stuff, and recycled, but often things I don't need. I have 5 teapots.

Knowing Canada Post, that means you'd be likely to receive several pieces of broken pottery to put in the bottom of flowerpots.
Come on, Kingston is a historic city too, you must have some churches with great cheap jumble sales.
