This was an interesting talk given by an economist about HIV/AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa and some interesting revelations of how its spread relates to economic factors. It turns out, for example, that the prevalence of HIV in Uganda dropped not because of a much-touted abstinence campaign, but because coffee prices dropped.
