Assiduously avoiding any puns re the questionable wisdom of wearing a wedding band while going out and trying to "score", the headline of this story caught my eye.
I have personally known three men who have lost fingers to wedding rings while working. I think it's a valid occupational health and safety issue.
Should rings and other jewelry be banned in the workplace ?

Talk about by-the-book reffing.
I worked in a factory where rings had to be removed. I didn't see a problem with it -- although, ironically, a chain around the neck with said ring on it was somehow OK.
