I am so happy for the people of Iran. Fanatics and fascists of any creed, ethnicity, or sexual orientation need to take note: No more. This includes you, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Your party, by and large, has lost at the polls. The people have spoken, and they have chosen the moderates. This is probably just what Bush and Co. didn't want to happen; it takes a pretext for invasion away. Not that they won't do it anyway. Anyhow, when I was reading about the results on the internet, I had Clay Aiken's CD "Measure of a Man" playing in the background, and track 2 came on, "I Will Carry You".

Yeah I know it hurts, Yeah I know you're scared walking down the road that leads to who knows where. Don't you hang your
head don't you give up yet when courage starts to disappear I will be right here.

When your world breaks down and the voices tell you turn around. When your dreams give out I will carry you, carry you.
When the stars go blind and the darkness starts to flood your eyes. When you're falling behind, I will carry you.

It really brought a tear to my eye.
