This article doesn't mention collapsing 401Ks and other lost savings after the economic fiasco of the last couple of years. I think that this, combined with the problems in traditional defined-benefit plans like Stelco, and a looming crisis in public pensions, means a lot of us are going to be working longer and harder, later into our lives.

So I don't think this is an all-good-news story.
