quote: Speaking today at the Conservative Political Action Conference, right-wing pundit Ann Coulter said: “I was going to have a few comments on the other Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, but it turns out you have to go into rehab if you use the word ‘faggot,’ so I — so kind of an impasse, can’t really talk about Edwards.” Audience members said “ohhh” and then cheered. . . . . Previously, Coulter has put “even money” on Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) “[c]oming out of the closet,” said Bill Clinton shows “some level of latent homosexuality,” and called Vice President Al Gore a “total fag.”

quote: Yeah, because the first thing I that comes to mind when I think of a guy whose claim to fame is getting illicit blowjobs by a smart, sexy, curvaceous woman is, "Hey, I'll bet that guy's gay!"
She's probably say slick Willy's overcompensating, or something, because her claim to fame is defending indefensible points of view. To try and understand the Coulter phenomenon, I had a look at a right wing blog after she slagged the 911 widows who were critical of Bush. The neo-cons seem to regard her as "harsh," but courageously honest, willing to speak the truth in the face of rampaging "political correctness." I mean, think of all the courage it took for her to question the heroism of triple-amputee Max Cleland, the former Democratic senator and Vietnam veteran, nit-picking the circumstances under which he lost an arm and both his legs. Widows...disabled war veterans...I expect her next book to be something like a screed against victims of childhood sexual abuse, with a sidebar on the nobility of drowning kittens, or dragging dogs behind cars, or suchlike.

Quote.....That insane, raving, filthy-minded psychopath seems to be fixated on other people's sexual orientation and behaviour....Stop being so nice, she does not deserve it. This reminds me of a comment I heard once, "methinks she doth protest too much". Hopefully, I got the quote right. [ 03 March 2007: Message edited by: oreobw ]
