I'm wondering what people here percieve (or for international babblers, see) as being Stephen Harper's international image, and what it means for Canada? Obviously as a small, unifluential country, it's not going to make waves either way. But for political junkies (a category I'd place most rabblers in), we are pretty up to date and have formed perceptions of many other foriegn country's leaders. For instance, I know full well that John Howard is an anti-gay bigot, warmonger who has wrecked havoc on the public service in that country. I know the leader of the British Conservatives is a socially moderate conservative in the mold of John Tory who realizes the wisdom of keeping itself at arms lengths from the USA. Anyways, in keeping with these descriptions of leaders, i wonder how people in Britain, or France, or Japan (etc, etc, etc) view Stephen Harper, his impact on Canada, and ultimatley on world affairs?
