Just curious if anyone can tell me what their checque from Elections Canada came to.

I think I got shorted, it was less than last election. It would be great to know roughly what other people got.

Thanks

Fees DRO - Ordinary Poll $185.25
Training - $ 35.00

Total = $220.25

I notice a phone number where you can ask questions about pay:
1-800-823-8488

.... It does seem less than what I was told at training ($225.00), but I found the Returning Office staff didn't seem to know what the exact rates were for the several different kinds of positions. Example - I was angling for poll supervisor but no one knew the pay rate, so I didn't push it.

.... I wonder if Advance Poll DRO's got less?

You can also search Elections Canada website for more info and contacts....

Also I think it was different for Elections Ontario (provincial) where tax was taken off (but I may be mistaken).

Hope this helps
