No kidding. Who was it who said that the US is "the only country to have gone directly from barbarism to decadence without the intermediate stage of civilization"?

Oh, let's be fair. The car coming toward him after he was hit took the time to turn around instead of running over him. Doesn't that count for something?

In fairness to Americans (okay, there has to be a first time) this video was shown on The View yesterday; Whoopi Goldberg and the others were horrified and discussed it for a long time.
