For the babble Linux geeks:

This small company based in Staten Island, NY is selling pre-configured Linux notebooks. They don't just pre-configure the operating system but also all of the third party open source software that they install.

They're using a modified version of the Canadian Xandros distro of Linux. Their idea is to only use components that are pre-tested to work with Linux with no fuss and they've changed the "look" of the KDE desktop so that its as "slick looking" as a Mac.

If i wasn't an apple junkie that would be SHUWEET.
