I dunno, the "insults" must be a cultural thing. quote: North Korea, in turn, called the deployment of U.S. aircraft a prelude to war. On Monday, the state-run Pyongyang Radio, using a vulgar epithet, compared Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice of the United States to a dog "that has no fear of a tiger and barks at it."
I'm assuming that wasn't the "vulgar epithet." Anyway, it seems like more of the same sabre rattling on both sides.

I think that if the "axis of evil" nations have learned anything from Iraq, it's that they should probably try like hell to obtain the WMD that Saddam did not posess. In any event, the military industrial complex needs a bogeyman, whether it's their former ally in the fight against communism, Osama bin Laden or whoever. They need to justify their hands in taxpayers pockets to the tune of several hundred billion dollars annually. The real battle is fascism versus social democracy as usual. There just isn't a free market for peace. [ 30 May 2005: Message edited by: Fidel ]
