I really enjoyed the podcast about the Ottawa co-op helping out. It made it sound somehow manageable to help without having millions to donate. Too often we all feel like it's up to governments to step in our behalf. This was a good reminder we can do something ourselves.
Plus it totally freaked me out to think of 500,000 people living on 300 acres of land.
