I'm sure there was a thread for Jane Jacobs's book The Nature of Economies when it was actually timely, ... but i just got around to reading it now.

I agreed with a lot of it, and thought it was a productive way to look at the economy. On the other hand, I thought it too vague about how to control our negative impacts on the environment, and on economic freedom.

what'd other people think?
