Source. It's a pretty weird story, and there was some intriguing speculation in the comments before they were closed:

I find it rather strange that the comments were closed so quickly, especially since nothing particularly offensive was posted up to that point.

I think the police officer's response was a reasonable one to being forced to listen to speeches by both Olmert and Sarkozy on the same day.

Actually, miles, I find it rather stereotypical to attribute suicide to "mental illness" without knowing all the facts (assuming that he did commit suicide).

Perhaps he hates camembert cheese.

Your theory may have some validity, save one small detail: He shot himself, not the cheese.
