I don't know if anyone believes that dairy products are under-priced. I know that many feel that the very opposite is true. A recent article referred even to gouging.

Why, therefore has the dairy industry been given a free ride in regard to charging and paying refunds on its milk and other containers?

One supermarket, I know, offers points for the return of milk jugs (limit 30 per customer/visit) but one might need to drink a tankertruck-full in order to obtain a small item.

There's an unwholesome smell about this illogical discrimination.
