I feel badly for them in the deep south. They're as loyal as can be to the conservative and religious right, and this is how they are rewarded for it. They need a bloody revolution.

No he is saying that don't cry because of the soldiers dying in Iraq or Huricane Katrina. The US gov does a lot to hurt their own people and these same people continue to re-elect them. Although they don't have a choice really it is either a man that beats you with a cane or a man that beats you with a bat...it hurts no matter what you choose. I can understand HS sentiment. These things shouldn't go on in "The richest country on earth" but this is routine and is indicitive of why they are the richest country on earth.
