Heh. This guy's hilarious. If you've ever watched his show, he does this "Word of knowledge" thing (I think that's what they call it) where he and his co-host squeeze their eyes shut and Pat somehow gets a "Word of Knowledge" from the voices in his head he's named "God", about the viewers out there. It's along the lines of: Oh! I'm receiving a word of knowledge right now about someone out there with severe migraines! God has just told me that he is healing your migraine right now! Oh, and I just received another word of knowledge! Someone out there who has a chronic bad back - you've been suffering for years! God just healed you! Then the next segment is a voiceover telling people to call their prayerline if they were the person God healed - Pat wants to hear from you RIGHT NOW, glory be! And just before or just after the segment, Pat and his host talk about the messages they've received from people who were healed by their last word of knowledge segments. Just wild.

The memoryhole wili, has an comprehensive bio on Pat! Showing him in all his bigoted lying glory! quote: Many of Robertson's views mirror those of the evangelical activist Jerry Falwell, who has made frequent appearances on The 700 Club. He agreed with Falwell when Falwell stated[18] that the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks were caused by "pagans, abortionists, feminists, gays, lesbians, the American Civil Liberties Union and the People for the American Way." ... During the presidential primary election season started in early 1988, Robertson's campaign was attacked because of a statement he had made about his military service. In his campaign literature, he stated he was a combat Marine who served in the Korean War. Other Marines in his battalion contradicted Robertson's version, claiming he had never spent a day in a combat environment. Instead of fighting in the war, Robertson's primary responsibility was supplying alcoholic beverages for his officers... In 1999, Robertson entered into a joint venture with the Bank of Scotland to provide financial services in the United States. However, the move was met with criticsm in the UK due to Robertson's views on homosexuality. After Robertson commented that Scotland was "a dark land overrun by homosexuals", the Bank of Scotland cancelled the venture
