I've been on the computer all day and my eyes hurt. I'd like it if you stuck around as you are able to back-up your clearly-stated assertions. I won't be able to answer anything today, and i hope to babble very little tomorrow, but if you become a fixture here, I think people would rise to your challenges.

There are "conservatives" of varying stripes who do get a hearing here, it's true. Just no racism or homophobic bigotry, or blatant sexism. (You'll get preconceptions and habits attended to, as you'll find!)

I once posted on a conservative-US blog, and knowing that i was on somebody else's territory, (and that there was a no profanity rule), i behaved myeslf. Some of those guys had half a brain and i learned stuff that i didn't learn on commondreams.org, (like that Senator Roberty Byrd appears to be a barely-reconstructed klansman ).
