Interesting, but women fighting for the right to become ordained Catholic priests seems to me a bit like blacks fighting for the right to be slave owners.

Dunno. It just seemed to me that, given the Catholic Church's track record re: women, that women might be more empowered by getting the hell out of there than they would be by fighting for the right to embed themselves even deeper.
Perhaps a better analogy might have been a black man trying to become Grand Dragon of the KKK.

i would like to bring up the whole gangster pimp rap vein of hip hop that was in style a couple years ago. and i truly thank all the new groups and artists coming out who do not glorify the pimp (= "slave" master. <-- though that is debatable.. but what isnt?))
