I heard about a program running in Winnipeg this august, around the 15th I think. It's called Solidarity Works and is run by the CLC. There is some info on it at http://www.canadianlabour.ca/index.php/solidarity_works but nothing about it in Winnipeg but I've been told you can email [email protected] for info and an application for it. There are a few spots left from what I heard.

It's an educational on union and social justice issues for young people with a hands on portion where the participants get to work in a union or community group.

Thought I would pass this along to people.
