The folks who run Googlesearch have posted a proposed "set of principles" around deceptive internet software and are looking for feedback.

Actually the set of principles isn't bad. But what's really needed is not just "corporate conduct codes" but genuine international regulations...through something like the ITU...the International Telecommunications Union. National legislation doesn't work and is usually rather "ham-handed".
