I have just read a post on another forum. The lady is in Toronto.

She says that she need a fairly extensive operation and her doctor has told her that she must go to a private clinic to get it. The cost is $6,000.

I just had the same procedures that she needs and OHIP paid for it all.

He also told her that if OHIP did do it it would only be a stop gap type operation and would not last 6 months.

What is going on here? All she needs is a decent gynacologist.

$6,000 would be half my pension.
