For those to the west of the Atlantic Time Zone, you can hear Judy Rebick on The Current during its second half hour. A good interview.

I only heard the last 30 seconds that day, because I got the time wrong - I thought it started at 9, so I started listening at 9:28 since Sharon said she was on during the second half hour. But as it turns out, The Current apparently starts at 8:30 here.

The Current starts right after the 8:30 a.m. news everywhere -- except in Newfoundland, of course. I'm sorry I wasn't more clear. It was a good interview.

All their interviews are archived on their website.
Here is the link (Real Media Player) for the interview with Judy (second part of this clip, first part is with Leilani Farha of the Feminist Alliance for International Action).

Ain't she grand? I just love the way she steps around the land mines of the interviewer. Not that they were especially nasty land mines...what I found especially admirable was the way Judy was able to convey a comfortableness with uncertainty while not abandoning principles...
I think back to a CNN host (Lou Dobb?)interviewing a member of the U.S. National Organization of Women (NOW) and I was astonished at his undisguised animosity...I guess he felt he could get away with it. It was repulsive and demeaning...
