I just went to the mailbox. and found an envelope from Bell Canada. It was obviously not the usual type (bills and promos) with the mailing window, but rather a regular business sized, addressed envelope.
Inside, I find a full page apology letter from the office of a Vice-president, with a real pen to paper signature, re the offensive ad campaign.

Wondering if anyone else has received the same or similar.

Ooh! Looks like I'll have mail from Bell today that I won't dread opening!

P.S. Usually the signed letters that look real are actually inked stamps of the signature. But you never know.

Maybe they didn't bother since you're not in their service area?

They're probably baking you a special cake, Audra.

(By the way, just read about your wedding kiss-for-donations idea in Fab magazine. Very cool!)

i'd love to have telus apologize t canadians for 3 years of using animals looped and digitized in non-sensical advertisements accompanied by golden oldies to sell cell phones. pigs, lizards, frogs, donkeys. it reminds me of travelling on american interstates, where every billboard is a talking animal, selling gas, furniture, or sno-cones.

god i hate telus, and those commercials.
(rant off chest)
