Are there any "insiders" on babble who have any idea about what exactly is going on between CUPE and NAPE in Newfoundland and Labrador? I understand the Williams government is trying to get NAPE and the Nurse's union in particular to sign on to the same contract 'template' as was agreed to by CUPE earlier this year. But, frankly, I have no idea why it's CUPE's fault that the provincial government is playing hard ball with NAPE, or why the NAPE leadership apparently feels this way.
