It is absolutley stunning the amount of ignorant and unfactual garabage printed in the Israeli and Zionist press:

quote:
During the first Gulf War, in which Israel did not participate actively, Prof. Dan Miron wrote a belligerent article in Haaretz, protesting the Israel Defense Forces' inactivity while cruise missiles, possibly armed with chemical warheads, made their way toward us.

Aside from whatever else is said in this article the fact that a major Israeli daily is so stunned that it actually asserts that Saddam's SCUD's (an ancient liquid fuel payload delivery system based on, and not much more advanced that the German V2) are "cruise missiles" speaks volumes about the tremendous level of ignorance which the official propoganda media of the so called Jewish state, must propogate in order to prepare its population, and its supporters abroad for it ongoing campaigns of genocidal slaughter, ethnic cleansing, and military agression.

Haven't you already been banned from here for periods of time for using such inflammatory rhetoric against Israel?

Give it a rest, Stock. Cueball is upset. I'm upset. Millions of people around the planet are upset. Let him blow it off in this relatively healthy manner, it's human.

Besides, apart from 'genocidal slaughter' which is perhaps a little contraversial, there's nothing in his post that misrepresents the truth, IMHO.

And Zaklamont's posts are fair game, he's virtually spamming the board with a bunch of threads based on articles he's just read about Israel instead of gathering them into a single discussion. It's a childish stunt and he has certainly been called on it by the moderator.

The poster who made the following remark in this thread:

...made the following (unpunished) remark to me:

quote:
Stockholm: Are you suggesting that Israel is killing innocent Lebanese civilians on purpose just for the pure pleasure of it?

Clearly, Stockholm is an expert on inflammatory remarks and should be listened to carefully on this matter. < snerk >

I think I was asking a perfectly valid question. I sincerely want to know whether anyone thinks that Israel is going out of its way to kill as many innocent civilians as possible for the pure pleasure of it. We know that is the stated objective of suicide bombers and their benefactors - but does anyone think that Israel has the same goal?

If you are asking is Israel deliberately attacking citizens for the same reason suicide bombers are, I say no. Sucide bombers are acting out vengeance, hate, and desperation. Israel's actions are a deliberate strategy to provoke a humanitarian crisis through an act of collective punishment on a national level. An act that has been describes as a war crime by the Swiss and the UN war crimes prosecutor.

I don't believe that it is "in Israel's interest to spark a humanitarian crisis" why would it be??? I'm sure that is Israel had some kind fo neutron bomb that would simply erase every single Hezbollah terrorist and all their weaponry without injuring a single solitary Lebanese civilian - they'd be more than happy to use it.

I am sure a neutron bomb would be smart enough to know that there is no difference between an Israeli terrorist or a Lebanese terrorist.

I don't know how often I need to post this as some people so much prefer self-imposed denial to truth, but here I go one more time ... :

quote:
Internal Security Minister Avi Dichter said the move was aimed at forcing an exodus of tens of thousands of civilians in order to put pressure on the Lebanese Shiite Hezbollah militia.

http://www.kuwaittimes.net/Navariednews.asp?dismode=article&artid=1747628185

Edited to add: Oh, and pudding? Proof:

quote:
Lebanese and U.N. officials warned of a humanitarian crisis, estimating that at least 700,000 people have been displaced, 360 Lebanese civilians killed and more than 1,000 wounded since Israel launched its attacks a week and a half ago.

Destabalize an Arab regieme wich is not entirely in the back pocket of the USA/Israel clique. Pretty simple. Try and force the Lebanese army into fighting a war against Hezbollah, just like they have been trying to do among the Palestinians by encouraging one between Fatah and Hammas.

Why do you think Israel's last targetted assassination was the Fatah functionary whom Hamas appointed to be chief of security. Can't have compromise mediator between the groups of course.

SOP.

Luckily, since this is yet another of Zaklamont's spamming efforts, I can shut down what is clearly going from bad to worse.
