The math appears a little conservative in calculating a two trillion dollar tab, looking toward the 2017 horizon, considering that thus far, in nearly 5 years of war, the article notes that almost 1 trillion in debt has been added due to the war.

Does Stiglitz believe Democrats are not warmongering plutocrats ? It takes two old line parties to tango. And he should know. His advice for spending on poverty reduction fell on deaf ears during the roaring 90's.
