(QD) It's an age old story, a pair of closeted gay lovers decide to look for a lesbian couple to marry them so they can shut their parents up. Being the modern age this one takes place via an advertisement online. What's different about it though isn't that it's taking place in Beijing, China. What's different is that it's turned into national news there.

"Zhou Xiaotian" - not his real name - told the press they've met two sets of lesbian partners so far, but neither pair were suitable for marriage. Zhou was tired of his parents repeatedly setting him up on dates with girls and pushing him to get married. "We don't mean to hurt others and just hope to overcome the present stress by this means."

You would think China would be encouraging homosexuality as a way to curb population growth. Isaac Asimov put forth this argument, so I'm not the first to have thought of it.
