As babblers know, a mining disaster in the United States has now metastized, with several of the rescuers of the first group being killed, and others hospitalized.

It is pretty clearly the result of the Bush Administration's refusal to enforce mine safety rules.

Here, Keith Olbermann talks about how the guy in charge of mine safety for the US government is a typical Bush fox-guarding-the-henhouse; that is, his entire record is one of protecting owners, not miners.

miners sacrificed to profit

Sadly how many people have died in mining incidents since Bush has been around? It is becoming far too common now.

80 year decline in mining deaths end now that Bush is in. How many people's families have to be torn apart before this criminal gets impeached?

He won't be impeached at this point. There's no will among the Democrats who count, and they're all going to be focusing on the primaries and the election now. Unfortunately.

I know you are right. It is just so utterly indicative of an infected and failed state that a man can be impeached for lying about a blow job while another cannot be impeached for war crimes. The Democrats, with the exception of a few, are cowardly and spineless and good and decent men like Kucinich don't have a chance of winning. I keep wishing things will change in America and everyday I see things getting worse, and I see that even hope is lost.

Any martyrs in the rabble? Talk is cheap - volunteer to take one for the team. (No experience necessary.)

If I thought it would ACTUALLY get him impeached, I'd consider it. But most likely, the right-wing media would make excuses for him. Or claim that I forced him or something. So, I'll have to turn you down on that one, jester. Sorry!

The situation is desperate. I do not advocate violence of any sort but purely from a historical perspective while the gun-totin Americans don't appear to have any shortage of going-postal types, the close-set eyes on the presidential brow make for a negligible target area.
Stern measures are required. With a year and a half left on the mandate and no necessity to appease political sentiment, who knows what rash folly the Big Dick and cohort will talk the moron into. Where is Mandy Rice-Davies or Christine Keeler? What happened to the grand trollops of yore?
