I just saw something that made me feel I was watching a sick parody or maybe hallucinating.

Nancy Grace was going through an intense discussion on the Duke University rape case when she turned to her fellow anchor to ask for stats .

What did the moron do? Immediately jump into college sports stats with a very over-emphasized, and enthusiastic sports commentator kind of way.

Nancy Grace, stopped and said, uh "What are you doing? I meant the 'rape stats.'"

Did anybody else see this?

I was working out in the gym and nearly fell off the treadmill when I saw it.

Who is Nancy Grace? Is that some newscaster from some backwater in "the regions", like Hogtown?

US Headline news anchor. I was flipping channels and just decided to see what they were saying about the duke case.

I honestly don't watch headline news or news that much. I just was shocked how bad the presentation was.

there is 8 TVs to choose from. I hear the TV through headphones, through a thingy attach to the treadmill. Then I just pick a channel

I didn't know who she was either, but then, I haven't had cable for several years now.

If the incidenct is related accurately...that's just beyond bizarre. In dealing with a case which is already beyond bizarre.
