Episcopalians Debate Role of Gays and Lesbians
Jason DeRose

CHICAGO, IL (2006-06-09) Next week, Episcopalians once again debate the role of gays and lesbians in the church.

Chicagoans will join other delegates at the denomination's general convention in Ohio, where they'll vote on a number of resolutions
regarding the church's position on same-sex relationships.

The move comes two years after the consecration of the church's first openly gay bishop Gene Robinson of New Hampshire.
