In the Malls these days there are kiosks in the aisles where some poor sap hawks a cartful of goods. You’ve all seen them. These Mall Hawkers make Tim Hortons look like a reasonable employer. The staff eke out a living from retailing a tiny inventory of mostly very specialized items. It’s an index of how inefficient the use of labour has become at the bottom of our society. Has nothing to do with modern world. They give me the creeps.
